It's about respect for our Canadian identity.
It's about people making a difference in their community.
It's about time that we did something.
In a world full of terrorism, global warming concerns, hunger and starvation, military oppression, and a possible economic slowdown; in a province that has snow-removal issues, potholes, possible transit strikes, infrastructure-decay, hospital-construction delays, too few medical practitioners, the inability to attract qualified workers, and the most unproductive unions in the world, why is it that the language issue is still the first topic of concern? Maybe if we stopped worrying about language, some of the other problems would be resolved.

OQLA is a not for profit organization made up of volunteers who are concerned about the slow and methodical disappearance of the English language in Quebec. Our primary objectives are to preserve and promote the English language within the province, to ensure that the English language does not become extinct in Quebec, and to make sure that companies provide bilingual signage in accordance with the language laws of Quebec.
